I had heard the phrase "out of control cravings" before, but I had never actually lived it...until last week. I caught myself daydreaming about cookie dough while staring at a power point slide at work. I thought to myself "If this briefing was about cookie dough, people would actually be listening." I broke down and bought some. I'd like to say it sat in my fridge for a day or so before I ate some. But unfortunately, it didn't even make it to the fridge that night. The next morning I woke up at 0530 for my workout. I tried to bypass the kitchen but my "out of control cravings" just wouldn't allow it. I devoured a few mouthfuls on my way to my workout. What the hell is wrong with me? This morning while still asleep I was dreaming about eating the cookie dough-licking the chocolate chips, taking a giant swig of cold milk. That dream proved the end for the log. Upon awaking, I consumed what remained of the log and that was that. This definitely falls in the "out of control" category. Now I have lived it.
